Ceremonial Cacao Mousse: Just Cacao and Water

Just cacao and water, nothing else.
One night of rest and the magic happens: ceremonial cacao mousse.
Perfect texture. Intense flavor. Pure energy.

Ingredients

  • Finely chopped ceremonial cacao (Vida Cotidiana or Vida Activa for extra energy)

  • Hot water

  • Sweetener of your choice (optional)

Preparation

Preparing it is as simple as mixing finely chopped ceremonial cacao with hot water.
If you like, sweeten it with whatever you prefer.
Then let the mixture rest overnight in the fridge.
In this case, I left it a couple of extra hours outside the fridge, in a cool place, before enjoying it.
The next day you’ll have a creamy mousse full of deep flavor.

Notes & Variations

This mousse was made with Vida Cotidiana, but it’s also delicious with Vida Activa if you’re looking for an energising boost.
