In this brownie, it shines in a rich, less-sweet recipe that highlights the plant’s natural energy.

Ingredients

For a 20 x 20 cm pan:

  • 65 g coconut oil

  • 70 g sunflower oil

  • 130 g Everyday Life Pure Ceremonial Cacao paste (chopped)

  • 200–220 g coconut sugar or panela (adjust to taste)

  • 150 g wheat or spelt flour

  • 1 g baking powder

  • 4 g salt

  • 300 g soy milk

  • 6 g vanilla extract

  • 5 g ground coffee (optional)

  • 100 g chopped walnuts

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 170 °C.

  2. Melt the ceremonial cacao paste with the coconut and sunflower oils in a bain-marie.

  3. In a bowl, mix the sugar, soy milk, vanilla and coffee.

  4. Stir in the melted cacao mixture.

  5. Sift and fold in the flour, baking powder and salt.

  6. Add the walnuts.

  7. Pour into a lined pan and bake 25–30 minutes. The center should remain moist.

 Tips

  • For a sweeter brownie, increase sugar up to 230 g.

  • Add cacao nibs or dried fruit for extra texture.

  • Let cool at least 30 minutes before slicing.
