In this brownie, it shines in a rich, less-sweet recipe that highlights the plant’s natural energy.
Ingredients
For a 20 x 20 cm pan:
- 65 g coconut oil
- 70 g sunflower oil
- 130 g Everyday Life Pure Ceremonial Cacao paste (chopped)
- 200–220 g coconut sugar or panela (adjust to taste)
- 150 g wheat or spelt flour
- 1 g baking powder
- 4 g salt
- 300 g soy milk
- 6 g vanilla extract
- 5 g ground coffee (optional)
- 100 g chopped walnuts
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 170 °C.
- Melt the ceremonial cacao paste with the coconut and sunflower oils in a bain-marie.
- In a bowl, mix the sugar, soy milk, vanilla and coffee.
- Stir in the melted cacao mixture.
- Sift and fold in the flour, baking powder and salt.
- Add the walnuts.
- Pour into a lined pan and bake 25–30 minutes. The center should remain moist.
- Tips
- For a sweeter brownie, increase sugar up to 230 g.
- Add cacao nibs or dried fruit for extra texture.
- Let cool at least 30 minutes before slicing.
