I hope that these recipes that you will see below encourage you to try different ways of preparing your Cacao.
You will see that you can use water, nut milk, natural sweeteners, edible essences, spices, and of course infusions or other medicinal plants that you like.
Don't forget that Cacao is a food and as such it allow us to play when preparing it. Combine it however you like or feel best and let this wonderful medicine work on you.
Cacao Drink
For recipes I always like to recommend the use of a mixer since the butter that Cacao naturally contains mixes better with the liquid we use.
It is also important that we do not let the water or milk boil, heat it no more than 90ºC.
Ingredients:
- Between 15 and 30 grams of chopped Cacao
- 200 ml of water
While the water is heating, we put the cacao in a blender, if you like it sweet you can add some syrup, panela or honey, once hot we add the liquid and blend for a few seconds.
If we choose to prepare your drink in a pot, you must mix for about 20 minutes so that the elements are well incorporated, always paying attention that the preparation does not boil.
And that's it!
Serve your Cacao in a cup that you like and enjoy this exquisite and healthy drink.
Milk and Mint Recipe
